In 2003 Lisa Johnson was a 16-year-old that every parent hopes for. Her beautiful smile and positive ways endeared her to many. She appreciated her family, friends and faith. On January 25, 2003 her life ended in a motor vehicle crash. She was headed for disaster and didn’t even know it. She was in the “highest risk” category for teens when she was a passenger in an SUV:
- With an inexperienced male teen driver
- With more than 2 other teens
- Driving between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
- With failure to wear a seatbelt
The hope of the Lisa Johnson Foundation is to help families gain life-saving knowledge, preparing them to prevent teen injury and death due to motor vehicle crashes. A teen’s life is worth saving.
